Cheers Sexy People!
I have such a treat for you guys! I am beside myself excited to share my latest podcast interview, Part One and Part Two, that I recorded in Utah on location with my great friends Bryce and Mango. Wow listening to this episode today, I am overjoyed, humbled, and full of pride at this intriguing, excellent, and thought provoking conversation with two rock stars. These two fantastic fellas have become great friends of mine that I love dearly and do my best to support, cheerlead, and inspire them as they inspire me so! I met them both for the first time when I went on a retreat over two years ago now (wow, time truly does fly!) that was aimed at people who were trying their damnedest to make a difference in the world, lead by two fantastic Aussie business / life coaches whom I also love dearly! Naz and Leah, I miss you so! It was a transformational retreat where everyone who attended had their hearts open, and their minds blown. I aspire to lead retreats with that kind of impact in the future. Who’s with me? At that retreat, we found another item that we have in common was our love of the Live Your Legend mission created by one of my mentors, Scott Dinsmore, whose wife Chelsea I have interviewed for the podcast as well. We have been friends ever since with Mango coming on the podcast in Episode #61. This is the first time Bryce is coming on the LWB show acting as monogamous-identified interviewer. Yet both of these young chaps begin to ask me questions about my polyamorous lifestyle and journey at times. We laugh, we cry, we get super real and deep on this unconventional interview style, recorded in a humble Utah hotel room during a ski vacation. Bryce and Mango, I cherish your friendship more than I can ever express into words. Thank you for accepting me, for loving me, and for being curious about other people’s lives keeping your minds and hearts open. Just thinking about you makes me grin from ear to ear. And I get to hangout with you at World Domination Summit THIS WEEKEND! How lucky am I?
Some topics we discuss in this entertaining and interesting interview:
— My lightbulb moment when I knew I was polyamorous, as well as my origin story in more detail than I have shared on the podcast before.
— The amount of research that my husband and I did before we even started to try to live a polyamorous lifestyle.
— The gem of the idea for the Loving Without Boundaries blog and mission, and how this community originally got started.
— The stereotypes around polyamory being all about sex sex and more SEX, as well as de-bunking that.
— What is the essence of being polyamorous?
— The terms polyfidelit-tish versus monogamous-ish coined by Dan Savage.
— A song I deeply love comes up in conversation in reference to meeting my current beloved. Feel free to enjoy: NeedToBreathe’s “Something Beautiful”
— What were some of our first dates like after we decided to explore polyamory (my husband and I)? Were they awkward? Were they comfortable?
— The phrase “A Reason, Season, or a Lifetime” as it relates to relationships that come and go from our lives.
— What happened with my first polyamorous relationship, how it ended, and the darker side of polyamory (hey, we are far from perfect!)
Thank you Bryce and Mango, for being so awesomely generous with your time, for being two people that I absolutely cherish and adore in my life, and for sharing your wisdom and insights with us via the podcast interview Part One and Part Two! It was enlightening, entertaining, and so flipping fun!

This presentation is for those seeking more understanding and practical guidelines around sex positivity, living an authentic life, and will discuss definitions and types of alternative relationship structures (such as consensual non-monogamy (CNM)/polyamory). This Summit is for EVERYONE interested in learning about the issues in the realm of sexual freedom, advancing their current knowledge and in gaining the tools to actually create the change we need to accomplish. I already have my ticket! I hope to see you there!
3) HGTV Calling Any Polyamorous House Hunters – HGTV’s popular show “House Hunters” wants to feature polyamorous groups in upcoming shows. The producer’s thoughts are to highlight polyamorous groups that might all be buying a house together for two reasons: It’s about time to feature less traditional families doing everyday things (like buying a house!) and also because instead of 2 different points of view, there might be 3 or 4 or more. Their intent is not to exploit, but to show that polyamory is one more option for families in the 21st century.
The ideal groups would be “out” because House Hunters would never want someone’s appearance on the show to jeopardize anyone’s livelihood etc. They also do not mention last names or addresses when they shoot the show, as a precaution. If you or someone you know is in the market to buy a new home, please get in touch with Laura Chambers via email (laura_chambers@pietown.tv) or by phone (818-205-0642).
