Cheers Sexy People!
I’m psyched to share with you our latest podcast episode here at Loving Without Boundaries! This interview is with Ferrett Steinmetz who was the keynote speaker as well as one of the presenters at the Beyond The Love 2015 conference in Columbus, Ohio that I attended a month ago. I enjoyed seeing his keynote speech that Friday evening for the opening ceremonies. I mentioned how incredible I thought his talk about deep “polyamorous friendships” was in an earlier post where I reviewed the entire BTL conference. And we discuss his thoughts on the matter in more detail during our interview. He also presented a workshop on polyamorous breakups at the BTL conference entitled “You Don’t Perform Surgery With a Butter Knife: Holding Safe, Sane Breakups”. He is kind enough to give us some cliff notes of this presentation during the interview as well. Together we speak about the trials, tribulations and joys of “coming out” as polyamorous. We also discuss pro-active breakups, time management, long-distance polyamorous relationships, as well cheating, abuse and depression. I found this interview to be highly entertaining and hilarious, as well as chockful of great information. You rock, Ferrett, and you have a great sense of humor!
Ferrett is a long-time blogger, author and teacher. Ferrett also is popular on FetLife as an author of various relationship essays, and is the Nebula-nominated author of urban fantasy novels FLEX and THE FLUX. He gives a brief description of these highly creative novels on the podcast interview as well. This is one busy and creative guy! I’m impressed!
Thank you Ferrett, for being so generous with your time within your busy schedule, and for sharing your thoughts and insights with us via the podcast interview! It was totally awesome and inspirational! I’d welcome having you back on the show anytime. Follow Ferrett’s adventures at www.theferrett.com, on FetLife as theferrett, or on twitter @ferretthimself.
