Hello, Loving Without Boundaries (LWB) community!
I am thrilled to share my latest podcast interview with Ryle Kestano, an experienced relationship author, authentic dating app creator, and creative. This podcast show has been a long time coming, as I met Ryle over a year ago at my first Interfusion Festival in January 2025. Surprisingly, I had never heard of this “Interfusion” event before, which takes place literally about 15 minutes from where I reside in Virginia. I was able to procure a one-day pass, and Ryle’s Authentic Relating live workshop was the first one of the day that I attended. I enjoyed it so much (as well as met a new friend who is part of our local Loving Without Boundaries community) that I attended another one later that day, as well as bought his Authentic Relating book. Ryle, I am so grateful for your work helping create more wholeness in relationships, fostering peace, resilience, and showing up as our most authentic selves, with a framework to do so. Thank you also for the Kora dating app, as I’m currently out there in the dating world, and we could all use a better app for that in our community. I wish you continued success.
Here is his Bio:
Ryel is the co-founder of Kora (a dating and relationship app), ART International (an Authentic Relating training company), The Realness Project (Authentic Relating programs for prison inmates), and Pink Mammoth (creative arts collective). He is the author of “Authentic Relating: A Guide to Rich, Meaningful, Nourishing Relationships”, and is at the forefront of the Authentic Relating movement worldwide.
Some topics we discuss in this highly interesting, informative, and thought-provoking interview:
-
Integrating all self-aspects for peace and resilience in relationships.
-
Importance of inner nurturing and facing unconscious relational patterns.
-
Slowing down fosters deeper connections, and encouragement for seeking coaching help early to avoid unnecessary suffering.
-
Transformational tools that foster healing and wholeness in relationships.
-
How being fully seen and accepted helps reveal and integrate suppressed parts of the self.
-
Wholeness means integrating all self-aspects, including the vulnerable inner child and adult self.
-
Dysfunctional family models distort adult relationships.
