Podcast Interview: Helena Goto, Author, Entrepreneur & Conflict Resolution Specialist

Hello, Loving Without Boundaries (LWB) community!

I am thrilled to share my latest podcast interview with Helena Goto, entrepreneur, conflict resolution specialist, and author of “A Modern Family: Keeping the Family Intact when the Marriage is Over”. What a breath of fresh air I found Helena to be: smart, innovative, radiant, as well as engaging. I was so delighted to speak to someone who is truly thinking outside the box about marriage (when it works, and when it doesn’t), and how to keep the family together in a completely creative way! Let’s face it: We ALL know one or more couples who are staying together “for the children”, even though they realize that their marriage doesn’t work anymore. They may be miserable, uninspired, and often at each other’s throats arguing intensely. How does THAT affect your children? What a novel idea to find a creative and truly inspiring way to still share resources, stay in close proximity so the kids still have two engaged parents around, while also opening the door for each parent to find love, romance, and fulfilling relationships today and beyond. It’s ok – and even courageous – to notice that we evolve and sometimes grow apart. Helena — I am behind you and your innovative thinking 1000%. Here is her Bio:

Helena Goto founded Goto Solutions in 2013 and works with companies to support their people in navigating conflict in the workplace. With Master’s degrees in both Business Administration and Conflict Resolution, Helena’s background gives her the combined benefit of understanding how a successful business functions, as well as the human dynamics that motivate people to work well together

Recently Helena has applied her dispute resolution skillset at home as her marriage was coming to an end. As a result, throughout the process, she has been able to successfully navigate keeping her family intact. Her book, “A Modern Family: Keeping the Family Intact when the Marriage is Over” was published in early 2024, and it shares her personal journey and is essentially a workbook to support others going through the process.

Helena lives in Los Angeles with her three sons, ex-husband, and two rescue dogs.
