Cheers Sexy People!
Hello, Loving Without Boundaries (LWB) community! As always, I am sending good energy and vibes of hope and love to our amazing community. I believe that sharing inspirational stories of hope, inclusion, and healthy lifestyles are more important than ever. If you are looking for ways to connect with loved ones you may be separated from, check out this blog post for resources and ideas. On to another inspiring story…
I am truly honored and thrilled to share my latest podcast interview that I released with Jess Shade. I met Jess at the Southwest Love Fest event earlier this year in April when I attended her presentation on “Polyamory and Attachment: A Therapeutic Lens on ENM.” I was very impressed with her, as well as her thoughtful and highly informative presentation that was well attended. This is an important topic that has finally been getting attention and focus in the past several years, thank goodness! Every day, I often speak to well-intentioned folks who are struggling with insecure attachment styles in their open relationships, and they don’t know where to turn for help. It is truly marvelous that there are incredibly smart and compassionate humans in the world, like Jess, who are able to answer vulnerable questions and provide powerful support for our community. Jess, it is truly an honor to know you! I am cheering you on every step of the way on your adventures, both personally and professionally! Thank you so much for the magnificent work that you do!
Here is her bio:

Additionally, Jess supports members of the mountain sports and snow safety communities.
Some topics we discuss in this fun, informative, and entertaining interview:
- The challenges faced in the early stages of fluid relationships.
- The importance of pacing and communication.
- Attachment styles and their connection to ethical non-monogamy.
- How to use self-assessment tools for insight and communication.
- Why it is important to be a secure base for your partner.
- The significance of communication in relationships, particularly with regard to asking for what you want.
- The importance of feeling safe to share or make requests in a relationship and trusting your intuition.
- Tune in to listen to this fantastic podcast episode!
Thank you Jess, for being so wonderfully generous with your time, and for sharing your work and life with us via the podcast interview! It was enlightening, interesting, and so fun! You can learn more about Jess on her website and Instagram.
