Cheers Sexy People!
Hello, Loving Without Boundaries (LWB) community! My heart goes out to you during these challenging times. I hope you are doing your best to keep safe. Sharing inspirational stories of hope, inclusion, and healthy lifestyles are more important than ever. If you are looking for ways to connect with loved ones you are separated from, check out this blog post that I shared recently. On to another inspiring story…
I am so thrilled to share my latest podcast interview that I released recently with the wonderful Laurel Schrock, one of my coaching clients. I so honor Laurel for being brave enough to reach out for help – especially when in a vulnerable state where she truly was needing support – on her relationship and emotional well-being journey. Laurel and I first chatted about her journey on this podcast when she was mid-way through the Jealousy Survival Guide: Healthy, Loving, Open Relationships Coaching Program (Episode #167). It was such a pleasure to see how much she had accomplished when she returned to speak with me just a few weeks after she had completed it. She was radiant and glowing and I was – and am – so happy and proud of this amazing rock star! Laurel! all of your accomplishments – not just in this transformational Program but beyond as well – not only inspire me, but so many around you. Keep going, amazing awesome human, and I hope to see you again in real life soon! I’m cheering you on every step of the way – from marathons to custom unicorn fart Pride candles to outrageous costumes to inspring t-shirts on that fit body of yours!
Here is her bio:
Laurel Schrock, a network engineer for Verizon Communications, hails from Mount Vernon, NY. She’s an Army Vet, a graduate of Georgetown University and also a small business owner, making her love for candles into what she calls a “hobby that now pays for itself.” Laurel has always identified as monogamous but a little over two years ago, she began dating an awesome guy who happened to be poly. Early in 2021, she began to experience intense and debilitating insecurities. Although it was gradual, she was struggling and she knew she needed help. Laurel had an amazing breakthrough recently in discovering and embracing who she really is. She now does not see herself as a monogamous person any longer.
Some topics we discuss in this fun, informative, and entertaining interview:
- Where she was emotionally when she first reached out and why she had a box of tissues at the ready.
- What she had tried previously before entering the JSG Program.
- How meditation was a surprising epiphany for her.
- Why she now identifies as polyamorous instead of monogamous.
- Where she is on her journey currently and how she is using the Program tools.
- Her overall experience in the JSG Program.
- Tune in to listen to this fantastic podcast episode!
