Cheers Sexy People!
Hello, Loving Without Boundaries (LWB) community! My heart goes out to you during these challenging times. I hope you are doing your best to keep safe. Sharing inspirational stories of hope, inclusion, and healthy lifestyles are more important than ever. If you are looking for ways to connect with loved ones you are separated from, check out this blog post that I shared recently. On to another inspiring story…
I am so excited to share my latest podcast interview that I released recently with Michael Love. First we were online buddies, as many of my treasured friendships have started out in the last decade or so. We are both in the space of practicing and being champions for living your most authentic life, including practicing our version of consensual non-monogamy. We also happened to be fellow podcasters as well. I first met Michael live and in person when he interviewed me for his original PDX Scene magazine when I was out west for the World Domination Summit in Portland, Oregon a number of years ago. More recently, I was honored by the invitation to write my “Dear Kitty” column, working alongside Michael for the past year as a staff writer for his publication, ENM Magazine. It has been an incredibly rewarding experience both creating magic via this national publication with Michael, as well as finding yet another way to serve this amazing community of ours – offering tools, insights, advice, and an empathetic listening ear to the writers who were struggling on their journey to greatness. Sadly, due to the nature of the world right now, like so many other endeavors, Ethical Non-Monogamy magazine is not sustainable to keep afloat right now. Yet I want to focus on the magic that we created as a community, as a team, and as devoted staff members alongside other amazing folks I deeply respect in this space. Michael, I am deeply honored to be your trusted friend, occasional confidant, karaoke buddy, Portland-lover, and fellow human being who loves this community championing their success. Words are hard to find to fully express my love for you, for your tireless work, (which I know will not end even though the magazine is in its final month), and your huge big heart! I hope to see you soon in Portland! Let’s keep Portland weird, shall we? Let’s do this!
Here is his bio:
Michael Love is an advocate of ethical non-monogamy who has been actively non-monogamous since 2010. He co-habitates with his wife and girlfriend in a Poly V living arrangement. Together, along with a team of creative contributors, he has produced a wonderful magazine for the non-monogamous community called ENM Magazine.
Some topics we discuss in this fun, informative, and entertaining interview:
- Why he doesn’t consider himself to be polyamorous.
- His self-appointed mission as an ambassador of ethical non-monogamy.
- The challenges he faced in transitioning from monogamy to non-monogamy.
- His philosophy of bringing a “team spirit” to his relationships.
- How a trip to his attic launched his new podcast: ENM Talk.
- Tune in to listen to this fantastic podcast episode!
Thank you, Michael, for being so open with me during our conversation and for sharing your stories with me via the podcast interview as we talked about the challenges and rewards of living ethically non-monogamous lives.
