Hello, Loving Without Boundaries (LWB) community!
I am absolutely delighted and thrilled to share my latest podcast interview with Mike Barsamian, parent coach, and creator of the PACE Method for parenting. I have been excitedly anticipating releasing this episode, as I think it will help so many well-meaning folks in our Loving Without Boundaries community and beyond. I actually sought Mike out to share his wisdom – particularly on his “Trust Triangle Framework” — after I heard him discuss it during what we call a “celebration” in the entrepreneurial community that we are both a part of. I was blown away by this newer definition of trust that resonated with me big-time. I especially loved that this insight includes the concept of “good judgement” as a criteria for building trust. Why? Because I was having trouble putting my finger on how to describe why I might not feel “safe” in a particular relationship or connection, and that hits the nail right on the head! I may not align with the decisions that someone else is making (which is their right to make, yet those decisions may have a negative impact on me – which then I get to decide what to do next). Having recently finished listening to “The Let Them Theory” by Mel Robbins, this aligns perfectly with that concept of knowing what we have control over, and what we don’t. If trust has been breached and/or one or more of the three elements of Mike’s Trust Triangle Framework are not adequately being met, we are then empowered to decide what we need to do moving forward. Love this! Mike! What an absolute pleasure it was creating this episode for our community, and having a beautiful heartfelt discussion with you. I am honored to know you, and am happy to have you back on our show anytime to share more pearls of your hard-earned wisdom.
