Hello, Loving Without Boundaries (LWB) community!
I am absolutely delighted and thrilled to share my latest podcast interview with Lola Phoenix, author “The Anxious Person’s Guide to Non-Monogamy”, “The Non-Monogamy Journal” and “Supporting Someone Polyamorous: FAQs About Non-Monogamy and Allyship for Family, Friends and Loved Ones”, and host of the “Non-Monogamy Help” podcast. What an incredible and inspiring conversation we had from this amazing human being who is clearly on a roll in creating tons of valuable resources for our wider consensually non-monogamous (CNM) community. When I think back to when I discovered polyamory back in 2007 or so and how little resources we all had back then, and what is available now, it is like night and day. I’m thrilled at the true ABUNDANCE of literature and concrete books, podcasts, and very specific information that can be found today (such as centering those struggling with anxiety). Lola has been a prolific contributor to that abundance, I am delighted to report. Lola, wow, have you been busy! I have so much gratitude for the breadth and depth of the work that you have been putting out there at such a young age. Imagine where you will be a decade or two from now, and the impact you will have made. Keep going! I’m rooting for your success and continued engagement with our CNM community.

How Lola’s first romantic relationship being long-distance and non-traditional planted early seeds of questioning monogamy norms.
-
Early experiences with sexual abuse and anxiety motivated her to learn deeply about sexuality to overcome fear and stigma.

How their career path shifted from casual sex-positive engagement in college to becoming a recognized author and podcaster.
-
The gap in resources for people with mental health struggles engaging in non-monogamy.
-
Releasing three major works, each targeting distinct yet overlapping audiences within the non-monogamy space.
-
Valuable insights about bisexuality, demisexuality, and sapiosexuality to demystify these identities.
