Cheers Sexy People!
Hello, Loving Without Boundaries (LWB) community! As always, I am sending good energy and vibes of hope and love to our amazing community. I believe that sharing inspirational stories of hope, inclusion, and healthy lifestyles are more important than ever. If you are looking for ways to connect with loved ones you may be separated from, check out this blog post for resources and ideas. On to another inspiring story…
I am thrilled to share my latest podcast interview that I released with Dr. Amelia Kelley, whom we have been honored to have on the podcast before. We enjoyed a fantastic intro interview on Episode 212 of our Loving Without Boundaries podcast, and I got hooked on speaking to this amazing and fantastic powerhouse of a woman. We have exuberantly agreed to have Dr. Amelia become a regular guest speaker, where we will dive into various topics that we believe our LWB community would truly benefit from. On this episode, we talk all things “gaslighting” – which is an ongoing hot topic in the consensual non-monogamous (CNM) community. Why? Because in ANY relationship, there can be real challenges to moving toward healthy relationship dynamics, and CNM is no exception. In fact, due to any past trauma (where unhealthy, toxic dynamics may then seem “familiar”) and possibly more tolerance is evident (from engaging in multiple relationships at one time), it can be easy to slip unintentionally into toxic patterns, that include manipulation, victim mindset, and, you guessed it, “gaslighting” as a potential vicious cycle. What’s so great is you can break free from it!
What I know to be true: Knowledge is power, yet self-knowledge is self-empowerment. Inform yourself by listening to this amazing episode.
Thank you so much, as always, Dr. Amelia Kelley, for your intellect, your grace, your compassion, and ALL of the amazing ways you add beauty, intelligence, and empowerment to this world. I so appreciate you and your hard work, Smarty Pants!
