Cheers Sexy People!
Hello, Loving Without Boundaries (LWB) community! My heart goes out to you during these challenging times. I hope you are doing your best to keep safe. Sharing inspirational stories of hope, inclusion, and healthy lifestyles are more important than ever. If you are looking for ways to connect with loved ones you are separated from, check out this blog post that I shared recently. On to another inspiring story…
I am so absolutely delighted to share my latest podcast interview that I released recently with Marie d’Elephant, who is now also going by the moniker Marie Lestage. I first met Marie via email in 2018 and then had the wonderful opportunity to meet her more in depth when she joined me on the podcast in 2019 (Episode 144). It was a pleasure to catch up with Marie once again in 2021 when we recorded this latest episode, rather serendipitously. What I love about Marie is how eloquent, intelligently, and thoughtfully she speaks about various topics important to our community. I can always count on a lively conversation, full of merriment, liveliness, vulnerability, and thought-provoking concepts! Marie! Thank you so much for your ability to think on the fly, question the status quo, and bring new and interesting ideas to life! You totally rock! Keep doing what you are doing while we cheer you on!
Here is her bio:
Marie grew up in conservative Christianity but is now an active polyam voice within the post-religious community, providing coaching to ENM folx. They began their public work as a means of healing theirself, processing their trauma, and connecting with others who struggle as well. Marie started their own podcast called Everyone’s Autonomous, which discontinued in August 2021 and merged into “Marie, Myself, & I”. They continue to guest appear on other platforms, speaking about their activism with toxic dogma, the deconstruction of monogamy, secular spirituality, and all things intrapersonally deconstructive. Marie has been the administrator and facilitator of an ex-religious support group in the Twin Cities since 2015 and has led breakout sessions at MNPolyCon.
Some topics we discuss in this fun, informative, and entertaining interview:
- How her foray into Ethical Non-Monogamy has been important for her healing and growth.
- Deconstructing the slut and the power of sex to work stuff out.
- Her first experience with having a hook-up and how it changed her beliefs, especially in managing her jealousy.
- The narrative of rejection and building skillsets in response to overcome that narrative.
- Her experience with psychedelics and its impact on her current relationship.
- Tune in to listen to this fantastic podcast episode!
Thank you Bea for being so wonderfully generous with your time, for telling us about your incredible transformation, and for sharing your wisdom and insights with us via the podcast interview! It was enlightening, interesting, and so fun! You can learn more about Marie on her website, her podcast‘s page and on social media: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.
