The Bonding Project, which is an inclusive relationship quiz that helps people consider if they would like to bond one to one, one to many, many to many, or solo, was launched in January 2021. The beta version of this initial test was largely a smash success, coupled with useful critique.
In April of 2021, Dr. Elisabeth Sheff (Eli), a longtime friend and highly regarded researcher on all things polyamorous, joined Kitty on the Loving Without Boundaries podcast (Episode 164) to share all about her latest project, The Bonding Project, and how it came about. At the time, she explained how this inclusive relationship test was developed and what it measures. She also provided listeners with a glimpse of some of the interesting findings that had been collected to date.
Now in its second year, exciting things have been happening at the Bonding Project. In response to feedback from our community, they have re-conceptualized their format and improved the quality of their quizzes even further. To date, over 15,000 people have taken the beta quiz since the January 2021 launch. Wow! That’s amazing!
The Bonding Project’s goal is to have 10 million “bonders” having taken the test by 2026, with an aim to provide a bridge between the consumer world and academia. We at Loving Without Boundaries support that goal and mission! How about you?
