Cheers Sexy People!
Hello, Loving Without Boundaries (LWB) community! My heart goes out to you during these challenging times. I hope you are doing your best to keep safe. Sharing inspirational stories of hope, inclusion, and healthy lifestyles are more important than ever. If you are looking for ways to connect with loved ones you are separated from, check out this blog post that I shared recently. On to another inspiring story…
I am so excited to share my latest podcast interview that I released recently with fellow podcaster, Claire Louise Travers. I always love collaborating with other fine folks who are out there doing great work in the world, and serving our amazing community of consensually non-monogamous folks and the LGBTQ+ wider circle. I am deeply impressed with Claire’s diligence and fire in how she shows up in this space and for this community. I hope that you enjoy our conversation as much as I enjoyed having it with this rock star! Claire, I am thrilled for you and all of the big things you are up to in the world! I fully support you and your fine contributions! Keep going like I know you will!
Here is Claire’s bio:
Claire Louise Travers is founder and regular host of the Poly Pages podcast, with higher degrees from four European Universities, including in Philosophy and History of Ideas, and a double Masters in International Humanitarian Management. Claire uses the labels queer, pansexual, and solo-poly and cannot remember a time when she felt monogamy was for her. Claire often joins the podcast remotely, as she works globally in the humanitarian aid sector.
Initially begun as a podcast in 2018, by 2020, the Poly Pages platform was launched to advocate for the inclusion of non-monogamous and alternative relationship strategies in social research and public policy. In 2021, Poly Pages launched events – cutting edge conversations tailored for the academic and non-monogamous communities. Today, the Poly Pages platform critically enables academia, polyamory, and social justice to come together through the podcast, resource hub, and events.
Some topics we discuss in this fun, informative, and entertaining interview:
- Why monogamy never felt right to her.
- How she defines solo polyamory and relationship anarchy.
- How she has navigated relationships in which there was not a shared, spoken language.
- The impact that different cultures can have on a polyamory relationship.
- Why she has begun to value collaboration as part of her journey.
- How the Poly Pages podcast was conceived.
- Why Poly Pages is focused on the critical element of the consensual non-monogamy dialogue (as opposed to “How I…” or “How to…”).
- What was some of the best advice she has received.
- Tune in to listen to this fantastic podcast episode!
Thank you Claire, for being so awesomely generous with your time, and for sharing your personal journey and the Poly Pages podcast with us via the podcast interview! It was enlightening, interesting, and so fun! Connect with her online via Instagram or the Poly Pages website.
