Cheers Sexy People!
Hello, Loving Without Boundaries (LWB) community! My heart goes out to you during these challenging times. I hope you are doing your best to keep safe. Sharing inspirational stories of hope, inclusion, and healthy lifestyles are more important than ever. If you are looking for ways to connect loved ones you are separated from, check out this blog post that I shared last month. On to another inspiring story…
I am so absolutely delighted to share my latest podcast interview that I released with truly one of my favorite humans on the planet, my friend, colleague, and cherished LWB Facebook group admin, Ed Hooper. Ed and I met online, gosh over six or seven years ago. I had joined a sex positive Facebook group that he had created. I started posting some of my very first blog articles in his group. Then we became fast friends as we chatted about that content and our views about life, love, ethics, and the freedom to choose how to live our intimate and sexual lives free some stigma. When I created my own private Facebook group in August of 2015, it was a natural decision to ask Ed to be one of our valued, reliable, and amazing moderators of the group. He has proven to be a fantastic and passionate leader, a man of integrity and grit, an articulate and intelligent speaker, and a cherished friend. We were fortunate enough to meet in person at the very first polyamory conference I ever attended back in November 2015. And he was right there cheering me on when I gave my keynote speech in November 2018, playing reporter-on-the-scene for our beloved group about the experience. Ed, I don’t fully have the words to express my gratitude for your devotion to the wonderful souls in our LWB community, your big heart that you generously share with all of us, and for your powerful and steady leadership especially during challenging times in America and the world. My hat goes off to you, dear friend. I love you, man! <3
Here is Ed Hooper’s Bio:
Born in New York City, raised in Cleveland and currently lives in Dayton, Ohio (with time in the service stationed in Germany), Ed is currently one of the Admins for the Loving Without Boundaries (LWB) Facebook group. His approach to Non-monogamy is one where everyone from the Polyamory community to those who are Swingers live under the same umbrella of non-traditional relationships. He also often shares insights regarding the constant battle between faith and sexuality.
Some questions I ask Ed in this fun, informative, and entertaining interview:
- What are some of the biggest challenges that you have faced in your consensual non-monogamy (CNM) journey and how have you overcome them?
- What are your thoughts on non-monogamy and/or lightbulb moment for living an un-traditional lifestyle?
- How do you choose material that you post for the LWB Facebook group?
- What do you think is the most rewarding part of being a moderator for the LWB community and a Facebook group like this?
- What’s one thing that you wish to share with the folks here that you think would be helpful for them to know?
- Tune in to listen to this illuminating podcast episode!
Thank you Ed, for being so awesomely generous with your time, for tireless work being a fantastic admin of the LWB private Facebook group, and for sharing your wisdom and insights with us via the podcast interview! It was enlightening, entertaining, and so fun! Ed would like to invite you to join our private Facebook community at this link if you are so inclined. You will need to answer three questions to be approved to join. We work hard to create a safe space for wonderful folks like you. Thank you.
