Cheers Sexy People!
I am so tickled pink to share my latest podcast interview with you that I recently recorded with Nolan Lawless, Licensed Professional Counseling specializing in alternative relationships, sex, kink, polyamory, and mental health. Amazingly, I met Nolan via the online world partly because he very generously wrote a book review for my recent book, “Jealousy Survival Guide: How to feel safe, happy, and secure in an open relationship” last fall. Thanks again, Nolan for your generous review of my book (especially as a first-time author) that I greatly appreciated! It was a wonderful way for us to get acquainted becoming poly pen pals. That exchange created a wonderful new friendship, recording this podcast interview, and eventually meeting in person at the Poly Living Philadelphia conference back in my hometown! Yay! I LOVE meeting cool, fun, polyamorous people live and in person! The fact that he is a wonderful educator is also a bonus! You can catch Nolan live and in person at the upcoming PolyDallas Millennium conference this coming July 13–15, 2018!
Some topics we discuss in this interesting and educational interview:
— How is current relationship dynamic (he’s a newly-wed by the way!) came to be and how it works.
— Some details about his recent polyamory-style wedding and his custom-written wedding vows.
— How he grew up in a repressed family setting where feelings did not get talked about.
— The importance of boundaries in relationships as well as self-understanding, especially polyamorous ones.
— How he sees the difference between “jealousy” versus “envy”, as well as “needs” versus “wants”.
— One of his latest presentations entitled “Deconstructing the Poly Saint” that he co-presents with his high school classmate, Jeri Lynn Herbert.
Thank you Nolan, for being so awesomely generous with your time, for your alternative relationship and sex education work, and for sharing your wisdom and insights with us via the podcast interview! It was informative, inspirational, and so fun! Follow Nolan’s work at www.infiniteheartcounseling.com, and on Facebook @infiniteheartcounseling and LawtonPolyamory.
