Cheers Sexy People!
Recently I have had the honor of being asked to be a contributing writer (along with many other fabulous writers) for a website called SwingTowns. This network serves the entire non-monogamy community such as people in open relationships, the polyamorous and polysexual, the swinger community, as well as the fetish-related community (think FetLife subscribers). They not only have amazing articles written on tons of interesting topics, but they are also an ever growing open dating network! Oh my goodness FINALLY! – a dating website for people like us, for us, and supporting us! I have been waiting for this day! I had at one point even considered creating one myself, but now I don’t have to. SwingTowns is here!
I am very proud of this first article that I wrote for them. It is a subject near and dear to my heart. As someone who has struggled through depression, a subsequent mid-life and identity crisis, as well as suffered through grief after the loss of several family members and a dear friend and mentor, finding happiness again is a major accomplishment in my life! Accepting and owning my polyamorous nature is part of how I got there. I go over this fact in detail in this article, 5 Ways Polyamory Has Made Me a Happier Person. Read on to learn more! Maybe there are nuggets of wisdom to help you on your personal journey!
I’m so absolutely thrilled to be participating in a unique event by relationship coach Effy Blue called “Consider This: A Day of Challenging the Status Quo in Sex and Relationships” at the House Of Yes in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday, September 16th. I am so incredibly honored to share the stage on a panel with friends and colleagues Dr. Elisabeth Sheff, Tikva Wolf (of Kimchi Cuddles), Effy Blue, and many more super smart, open-minded and courageous folks! Come join the conversation and the fun with us! BONUS: My husband and beloved very well may be with me as well! Come meet them in person!
Also I will be attending the 5th Annual Beyond The Love conference in Columbus, Ohio, December 1-3, 2017. I will be there sharing copies of my new upcoming book: “Jealousy Survival Guide: How to feel safe, happy and secure in an open relationship.” The book will also be offered as one of the items available in the now in-famous “silent auction” that Dan, Dawn and Karen offer. Yay!
Lastly, I am absolutely honored and THRILLED to have been selected as one of the presenters at this year’s National Sexual Educators Conference, Decembr 6-9, 2017 at Atlantic City, New Jersey. I will be speaking on Friday, December 8th from 2:15 to 3:15pm. My talk is titled: Polyamory In Practice: Understanding Consenual Non-monogamy. I feel this is a major step that the NSEC is taking action to learn more about the polyamorous community, seeking to understand how to serve them better. If any sexual educators are reading this, feel free to reach out to me. I’d love to set up a 15 minute informational interview with you to learn more about how I can serve you in my 60 minute talk and workshop. What are you most looking to understand and know about polyamory / consensual non-monogamy to serve your clients, patients, and community?
The NSEC hashtags are: #SexEdConference, #NSEC17, and #SexEdAccepted
See you on the flip side, lovely community! Keep being brave, compassionately vulnerable, and uniquely and authentically you!
Wishing you peace, love and happiness,
(and thrilling, fun sex too!)
Kitty

There is also Polyamory.Dating. They are a poly social/dating site, accepting of all non-monogamous relationships, that is relatively new. it still needs a lot of work, but the owner is actively involved in improving it, and recently got some funding for that purpose.
